He Knows

You will be standing in a place of child sacrifice and the presence of evil will weigh heavily on you, causing fear and discouragement. You will experience disappointment and grieving that no one else will understand. To you I say, don’t expect others to understand.

There are many faithful people fighting the abortion battle in different arenas. In the political arena, in crisis pregnancy centers, adoption agencies, and more. No matter where the battle is, they all work hard, and they all feel the evil. It is obvious and intense for them. None, however, will ever experience it to the degree that you will standing directly at the altar of Baal with the Hordes of Hell breathing down your neck. Again, don’t expect anyone else to know what you go through.I encourage you, instead, to never forget that “He” knows.

He knows how you lose sleep the night before going to the clinic.   

He knows the dread that settles on you when the alarm goes off.  

He knows the tightness in your chest as your car approaches the clinic. 

He knows how you feel and grieves with you over every foul word and curse spoken to you by vile and hateful clinic escorts and Satan worshippers.  

He knows what it feels like to be pushed and shoved and not be able to retaliate.

He knows what it is like to be accused of something you didn’t do and be unjustly punished for it.  

He knows how your back aches from hours on your feet.  

He knows how you suffer from the relentless heat of summer and the freezing cold of winter.

He knows your loneliness when no one joins you.  

He knows the desperate sorrow you feel when you watch them leave with their now empty wombs.

He knows how you punish yourself when you fail to say “just the right thing”.

He knows the heavy dread that hangs on you long after you leave.

He knows how you feel when you see the busy world around you and wonder how they can just go on with their lives, knowing what’s happening down the street.  

BUT! He also knows the excitement and joy that comes from experiencing the one that listens to you, hugs you, and chooses life for her child.  

Most of all, He knows how your heart soars when you first hold that sweet warm child, staring into your face, blowing bubbles at you. He knows how you marvel that you were chosen to be a part of saving its life. He knows you can’t find the words to thank him or describe the incredible depth of your indescribable joy.   

He knows.
